Submit your business book proposal for a chance to win £15,000
The Bracken Prize (formerly the Bracken Bower Prize) is an annual prize organised by the Financial Times that aims to encourage young writers and researchers to identify and analyse the business trends of the future.
A £15,000 prize is awarded to the writer of the best business book proposal, as decided by our judging panel consisting of experts from the publishing industry. The judges will be looking for evidence of knowledge, creativity, originality and style, and a proposed book that promises to break new ground, or examine pressing business challenges in original ways.
Only writers who are over 18 and under 35 on 30 November 2023 are eligible for this year's Prize. They can be a published author, but the proposal itself has to be original and must not have been previously submitted to a publisher.
To enter, submit your business book proposal of no more than 5,000 words in either essay or article format.
The winner of the Bracken Prize will be presented in London in December 2023.
